QQR will acknowledge and respond to verifiable privacy rights requests within the time period required by applicable law. Where the law does not specify a response period, QQR will use reasonable efforts to respond within forty-five (45) days after receiving a verifiable request, and may extend that period as permitted by law where reasonably necessary based on the complexity or volume of requests.
An individual may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on the individual's behalf. To verify an authorized agent, QQR may require: (i) written authorization from the individual designating the agent (such as a signed permission form or, where applicable, a valid power of attorney); (ii) verification of the individual's identity directly with QQR; and (iii) confirmation from the individual that the agent is authorized to act on the individual's behalf. QQR may deny a request from an agent that does not provide adequate proof of authorization.
